Latest news of SSC CGL 2016 regarding vacancy

Information regarding Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 The Commission had hosted on its website information on the tentative vacancy position for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016.  The tentative vacancies at the end of first round of collection of vacancies by the Commission was 3815. Some bonafide candidates have thereafter approached the Commission seeking clarification on vacancy position for CGLE, 2016 whether 3815 is and if so, the the final reasons for the said reduction in the number of vacancies compared to the previous years.  In response to these specific queries, it is clarified that the vacancy position figure, of 3815 is an interim and tentative at the end of the first round.  Hereafter, the number of vacancies will go up as many major departments are yet to report their vacancy position for the said Commission.
