NET EXAM


The National Eligibility Test (NET) is a test to determine eligibility for college and university level lecItureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for Indian nationals. It aims to ensure minimum standards for the entrants in teaching professions and research. On behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) holds the test for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges

Paper pattern for CBSC NET
the test will consist of 3 papers. All paper are objective type questions.
Paper First I: 100 marks
Number of questions: 60 out of which 50 questions must be attempted
Duration: 1 Hour 15 minutes
Paper Second II: 100 marks
Number of questions: All 50 questions are compulsory
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
Paper Third III: 150 marks
Number of questions: All 75 questions are compulsory
2 hours 30 minutes

NET Exam for following subject conducted by CSIR

A Single  MCQ paper of 3 hours, carry a maximum of 200 marks.

Negative marking for wrong answers.
